Laptop theft from vehicle of Larry Strauss, CPA of Baltimore, MD. Data loss included personal information in the form of tax returns for approximately 100 Maryland residents who are clients, including 2007 tax year returns being processed, and previous years' completed returns. Information contained included: first and last names and addresses; Social Security numbers; business names and employer identification numbers; financial data typically contained on tax filings (such as gross income of client or business); first and last names and Social Security numbers of any dependents of clients, where applicable; and phone number and e-mail address contact information in some cases.
